AEC bridges generational gaps to expose our seniors and youth to many facets of the performing arts and render understanding into various occupational options in the world of entertainment! Participants will be provided round-trip transportation from Bladensburg to the University of Maryland, a tour of the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, a stunning performance as well as an insightful talk with the production team following the performance, all at no charge.

The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center is a performing arts complex on the campus of the University of Maryland, College Park that houses six performance venues.
B5 Initiative gathers resources and helps to link community partners and stakeholders. By acting as a coordinating body, the B5 creates a bridge of opportunity for the wider community of Bladensburg.
