What is POWER P.A.C.℠ ?

POWER P. A. C. is a performing arts summer and/or Spring Break enrichment camp experience designed for children ages 6-12 in communities of Black and Indigenous people of color. This camp is available in one, six, or eight week sessions. Base camp operates from 9am – 4pm Monday through Friday with pre- and post-care options available daily. “OUR Star Spangled Banner”

Campers created their own script of a musical re-enacting War of 1812 events.  They organically embodied patriotism making our national anthem their own, adding relative styles through their creative gifts and talents of drama, song and dance.

“Hidden Treasures Within”

Campers explored and learned to appreciate the hidden treasures found in themselves, fellow campers, our local community and the world we live in rich in natural resources.

“Around the World in 40 Days!”

We visited every continent around the world celebrating & learning to appreciate cultural diversity! Designed for ages 6-12, children were taught performing arts by entertainment professionals while building character & obtaining valuable life skills!

Our Partners

viaJ entertainment services, llc. was established in 1993 to serve as a tool for professional development in creative, corporate and governmental settings in the areas of training, production, and consulting.

The Family League of Baltimore/Share our Strength and/or the Prince Georges County Department of Health and Human Services provide free breakfast and lunch daily.  

The B5 Initiative is a grassroots community organization tasked to improve the quality of life for stakeholders in our community in the areas of litter and blight prevention and removal, environmental health, business development, home improvement and arts and cultural enhancement.

Foster Grandparents Program participants are at least 55 years old and are role models, mentors and friends working with at-risk children in various community settings including schools, hospitals, drug treatment centers, jails, and day care centers. 

These law enforcement agencies protect and serve constituents in their assigned jurisdictions for the public health and safety of our local community.

Community Forklift is the DC-area’s nonprofit reuse center for home improvement supplies.

Local teenage volunteers earn community service hours for serving the campers and their families.
